GymPlannerX is published by Black Forest Software, a software business registered in Malaysia (SSM IP0624469-P), based in Impian Heights, Puchong Jaya, 47100, Selangor, Malaysia. In these terms “we” and “us” mean Black Forest Software, and “you” means the person using the app.

If you do not accept these terms, do not use the app. You can delete it at any time and it costs nothing to stop.

GymPlannerX plans training and estimates food targets. It is general fitness information. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a treatment. It does not know your medical history and it cannot examine you.

Talk to a doctor or a dietitian before a big change to what you eat, what you weigh, or how you train - and always if you are managing a condition, pregnant, or under eighteen. Stop and get advice if something hurts.

Training with weights carries risk. You are responsible for deciding what is safe for you on any given day, for the loads you choose, and for stopping when your body says so.

Calorie and macronutrient targets are estimates produced by a published formula from the height, age, sex and weight you enter. They are about ten percent out on any one person, and the app says so where it shows them.

The app corrects its own estimate over time from the weigh-ins you enter. It will not take a target below what you burn asleep, and it will not go under a fixed floor. It will not plan food through a pregnancy, and it will not put anyone under eighteen into a deficit.

We do not promise you a rate of weight change, a result, or a date. What you eat and how you train remain your decisions.

The whole method is written out in the app, under Guide > How we get your number, and you can read it before you enter anything.

The app does not require an account. If one is created for you - see the privacy policy for when and why - it is anonymous and you can delete it in the app at More > Your data, or through the account deletion page.

Programs you build, workouts you log and messages you send us stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so the app can do its job for you.

Do not use the app to break the law, to interfere with the service or other people’s use of it, or to resell what it produces as your own product. We can end access to our servers for an account that does.

The app is free to use. Pro unlocks extra features and is sold as an auto-renewing subscription. The lengths and prices on offer are the ones your store shows.

• BillingAll payment is handled by Apple or Google, not by us. We never see your card or bank details.
• RenewalA subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. The price and period shown at purchase are the ones that apply.
• CancellingCancel in your Apple ID settings or in Google Play, not here. Deleting your GymPlannerX account does not cancel a subscription.
• RefundsRefunds are handled under Apple’s and Google’s own policies, because they took the payment. Write to us and we will help you where we can.

We add features, change them and remove them. We try not to take away something you rely on, but we do not promise any particular feature will exist forever.

The app is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will be available without interruption, or that every number it produces is right for you. It works offline by design, so a server outage does not stop you training.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, illness, or loss arising from how you train or what you eat, or for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Where we are found liable despite the above, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not take away rights your local law gives you.

If these terms change we update this page and move the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.
